What is the best way to lose weight for a woman with PCOS?

Losing weight is tough work if you have PCOS.

What is the best weight to lose some pounds.

Of all the diets, only the GI diet seems sensible to me. However, it is not that easy to follow if you eat out often.

I will set reviewing diets for PCOS as my 2008 goal, and aim to read and review some diet books.

I'm so sick of people blaming their weight on PCOS. Sure... it might be EASIER to put on the weight, but if you really focus and actually try to loose it, it will work just fine! I'm living proof. I stopped drinking the sodas and sugar and all the carbs I was, and there ya go. Period started... weight started falling off fast. So give me a break. Common sense shows that the reason your PCOS are so bad is because you are over weight. You aren't over weight because of PCOS! Wake up! Like I finally did girls...

Dear Christina,
Why was I on Weight Watchers for four years and gained 50 pounds? How come no one else in my family is overweight but they all eat like cows? Why was I obese at the age of fifteen after spending my entire life cutting out calories and sugars and fats? Why can my friends shove junk down their throats all day and not gain any weight while I eat green beans and grilled chicken and become obese? Why was I asked if I was pregnant at the age of twelve after I had just lost 30 pounds? YOU got lucky. Most aren't so lucky. PCOS DOES cause weight gain and I'm living proof.
