damn... not today

I was going to bed in my hotel room when I sudden felt a sharp pain on my left abdomen.  Damn, having read that Taking Charge of Your Fertility book almost cover to cover, I think i know what it was, despite my menstruation not being very regular. The signs were pretty obvious this time.

I was happy, as it kind of reassured me that it is still "working", but unfortunately, hubby was miles away and I could not see him for another week!

Another missed opportunity, which is a big thing if you are my age!

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15, and I will tell you it is possible to have a baby!! I was told that I would need fertility meds, so my husband and I were not exactly careful, and 4 years later without any meds I got pregnant, and had my son. Then 2 years after that we wanted to have another baby. I got pregnant with my daughter on the third round of IUI, so that is within 6 months (3 months clomid alone, 3 months IUI). I just wanted to let all of you other PCOS women out there know that it is possible to have a baby... just have patience with your self and your body.
